Making tools that make shirts
Let’s make a tool that makes awesome designs! We’ve adapted the traditional screen printing process that involves caustic chemicals, dark rooms and long drying times into a program that kids can start-to-finish complete in 90-120 minutes with just scissors or an X-acto knife. Using heavy duty vinyl stickers kids create a design on a canvas-like screen then use it to create one shirt/pillow case. After cleaning the kids take the screen and a jar of ink home to make additional copies of the design for friends and family. Each jar of ink is enough for about 5-10 prints and more ink is available at many local craft stores.
NOTE: This program is also available as an adult class. Fantastic as a "Beer and Making" session at a restaurant, or a parents-night-out program when coupled with an evening care program. Please Contact Us for details.
