We were extremely happy with the programming Tinker Truck provides to Playfit Kids Club! The projects keep the kids engaged and they have a great time doing them. Most importantly, Cam does an amazing job facilitating the programs and interacting with the kids. The feedback we continually receive from parents and participants is always excellent.

Cam’s unending passion and deep knowledge of utilizing maker principles in education was essential to opening The Underground Studio at THEMUSEUM. From preparing an exhaustive list of renovation requirements to ensure that all makers were accommodated for within the space, to generating ideas for programming streams meant to inspire and stimulate our audiences, Cam’s vision will shape our space’s success for many years to come. His mentorship and leadership skills have benefited my personal development, with his considerable experience and willingness to explore new ideas an inspiration. Cam also possesses a very keen attention to detail and his project management skills helped coordinate resources together effectively. We are incredibly fortunate as an organization that he decided to share his vision with THEMUSEUM, and look forward to any future collaborations with this leader of our local Maker community.

I’ve had Tinker Truck come to my summer camp for the last two years. We’ve had a different program every week, and Cam has even invented a few new projects to fit our weekly themes. The programs are diverse, challenging, exciting and educational. The regular kids eagerly await the weekly projects and proudly show off the results to their adults when picked up. I have no hesitation in recommending Tinker Truck for your camp as well.

Brick Works Academy has been collaborating with Tinker Truck for over two years. In 2016 we commissioned a set of rocket launchers and licensed Tinker Truck’s ‘Air Duct Tape’ rocket science program for our camps. Cam and his team trained our staff, supported the equipment and helped us source materials. We have also contracted Tinker Truck to run this program for some of our smaller locations throughout the summer. If you’re looking for an exciting and science/makerly focused program to add to your camp, we highly recommend Tinker Truck.

The Linwood Recreational Services Board was looking for an event to encourage participation among pre-teens at our Winter Snofest event. Cam and his team delivered with creative mix of enthusiasm, education and fun! The kids loved the rocket science project and we will definitely be calling Tinker Truck again to help us enhance our family oriented programming. We look forward to our next experiment with Tinker Truck.
